Don't Blame The Peptide
What to do if your peptides "aren't working"
The sad fact about most people is that they have a bad habit of blaming everyone for everything…
Except themselves.
You see it all the time.
People who want to blame politicians when the economy crumbles…
Not themselves for making poor investments and financial decisions.
People who want to blame Big Food for the fact they weigh 400 pounds…
Not themselves for falling into a state of disarray.
And of course, there’s some truth to all of this.
You’d be hard-pressed to take a look around at the state of the economy and society and argue that we aren’t living in 🤡 world.
Big Food has indeed been engaged in an absolutely nefarious campaign to create products with addictive properties that rival the worst opioids imaginable.
But at the end of the day, the onus lies on you to:
a.) Have the foresight to not get yourself into these situations
b.) Take DRASTIC steps to get yourself out of it if you do
And if the messages Jay Campbell and I have gotten over the years are anything to go by, then this same principle applies to peptides…
Except that, there’s FAR less truth to it.
Again, I see this CONSTANTLY.
People who will frantically email Jay and me (usually in all caps) to tell us that such and such peptide “doesn’t work”.
“Tirzepatide isn’t suppressing my appetite!”
“Guys, tesamorelin isn’t doing ANYTHING for me…what do? 🤷♂️
In other words, they want to blame the peptide and not THEMSELVES.
Now, let me get the TINY kernel of truth out of the way.
We’re all N-of-1.
We’re all biochemically unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.
And that principle does apply to peptides.
For example, Jay gets minimal benefit out of the nootropic peptides, whereas they work well for me and my coaching clients.
But that’s actually a pretty rare case.
Regarding HEALTHY and OPTIMIZED individuals, most peptides work for most people.
Jay, myself, and most of our peers and inner circle members get results from any given peptide that range from “that was pretty good” to “that was LEGENDARY” 😎
And the people who DON’T get these results tend to have one thing in common - they’re not even CLOSE to being optimized.
Now, for some of you glass-half-empty types, this is going to come as bad news.
Yet another blow to the dreams you have for yourself, your body, and your health as you realize the potential of peptides is well out of your reach.
But for some of you, this is the best news EVER…
Because it means that everything you’ve been told about peptides is absolutely, 100% true - and well within your reach.
I am nothing special.
Jay is nothing special.
We’re just two guys who have put the work in.
ANYONE can do this.
Just like ANYONE can not be obese, and ANYONE can make intelligent financial decisions that don’t result in bankruptcy.
So, before you decide to blame the peptide, do a hard inventory on yourself:
🤔 Am I sleeping 8 hours a night?
🤔 Do I have acceptable levels of body fat?
🤔 Have I really been consistently training and do I have a solid foundation of muscle mass?
🤔 Am I hormonally optimized?
🤔 Did I use the peptide correctly
Your answers to the above questions will tell you everything you need to know.
Best,
Hunter Williams
