Why EVERYONE Can (And Probably Should) Use GLP-1 Agonists

If you know me, you know I’m all about the principle of N-of-1.

We’re all biochemically unique, and what works for one person might not work for someone else.

But - when it comes to GLP-1 agonists, there is a use case for basically EVERYBODY.

Now, I should clarify what I mean here…

I’m not saying everybody should be on tirzepatide ALL the time.

In fact, if you know anything about my general recommendations, you know I recommend NOT to do that.

Like all peptides, GLP-1 agonists need to be cycled off to avoid the issue of receptor attenuation.

However, regardless of who you are and the current state of your health, everybody can benefit from these agents.

I don’t really think I need to explain this any further, but I will just in case:

Being obese or overweight is the single worst thing you can possibly do for your health.

For these people, the use case is pretty simple - GLP-1s will help:

✅ Immediately stop any further weight gain (i.e. put the fire out)

​​✅ Start getting the weight off as quickly as humanly possible

✅ Begin the process of rewiring the brain’s reward circuitry and establishing healthy eating habits

That’s it.

If this alone happened, 70 percent of the population would dramatically improve every single one of their health markers, add years to their lifespan, and skyrocket the quality of their lives.

Now, what about the other 30% of the population who isn’t obese or overweight?

What about the people who are at a “normal, healthy weight” (or what used to be considered normal before the obesity epidemic reared its ugly head)?

Or better yet, what about those of who are already lean and mean?

Well, guess what?

I STILL think using a GLP-1 agonist would be beneficial.

When it comes to anti-aging and longevity, leaner really is better.

Sure, there’s a point where low body fat becomes a problem…

But it’s A LOT lower than most people think (we’re talking like 4% body fat for a man).

Don’t get me wrong, if you’re at 12% body fat right now, you’re doing FANTASTIC.

But you’d STILL benefit from leaning out even more.

And you know what’s really cool?

The benefits go WAY beyond fat loss.

This is something which has been anecdotally reported for a while now, and we’re finally starting to see some objective evidence coming to light:

I firmly believe GLP-1 agonists:

✅ Fundamentally change your attitude towards food

✅ Help remodel the gut

As far as I’m concerned, GLP-1 agonists are the single greatest health discovery since penicillin.

And if you’re not using them, you’re not living a fully optimized life.

Period.
