✈️🧪 How To Travel With Peptides

Pro tips

I got a phenomenal question on a recent AMA I did on traveling and peptides.

Basically, the guy who asked wanted to know if it was possible to take peptides with him while he was traveling—a very timely question, given the upcoming holiday season.

It’s also just an interesting question in general.

I love to travel.

I love getting out and seeing everything this wide world has to offer.

And chances are, if you’re watching this, you’re of a similar disposition as me.

You don’t want to sit at home - you want to get out and EXPLORE.

Traveling goes hand in hand with living a fully optimized lifestyle.

But do you know what does NOT go hand in hand?

Packing.

Unfortunately, with this lifestyle comes a lot of “stuff.”

Supplements, hormones, pills, needles, syringes…

It is all “stuff” that needs to be accounted for when traveling and, in many cases, moving around from country to country.

With that said, it can be done - it just requires a little foresight and planning.

While a full breakdown of how to travel with EVERYTHING you need is beyond the scope of this email, today, I’m going to focus specifically on peptides.

Here’s everything you need to know to travel with them safely.

The Local Roadtrip

Let’s start with the most straightforward option…

If you’re planning to take a road trip within the general area or state in which you live, there isn’t much to it:

  • Buy a good insulin cooler (something every peptide enthusiast should have)

  • Throw some ice packs in there

  • If you’re traveling by car, put everything in a small cooler

Everything should stay nice and cold for 10-15 hours if you do that.

Pop everything into the fridge once you get to the hotel, and you’re good to go.

Easy peasy.

Traveling Domestically By Plane

This is a little more complicated but still very doable:

  • Follow all the steps above (minus the cooler)

  • Put all your peptides in your CHECKED bag

  • Put all your needles and syringes in your checked bag

Can you take everything in your carry-on?

Sure.

Peptides are not illegal, and you’re not doing anything wrong.

But honestly, you’ll find it MUCH easier if everything goes into your checked luggage.

The last thing you want is some TSA officer who’s having a bad day to see a bunch of white powder and syringes when you go through security.

You’re not going to jail or anything, but it can become much more of a headache than it’s worth.

Traveling Internationally

This is where it can start to get somewhat complicated.

First, let me preface this by saying that you should always check the laws of whatever country you travel to.

For most places you visit, peptides fit into the same legal “gray area” as America—they are prohibited from selling for human consumption (check out this video if that doesn’t make sense to you). Still, they are not at all illegal to possess and travel with.

But again, do your homework.

Also, remember that while the actual peptides might be perfectly legal, the needles could become an issue.

In countries like Japan, for example, needles and syringes are heavily controlled and regulated.

With that said, here are the best practices for traveling internationally with peptides in tow:

  • Same as domestic travel, put everything in your checked bag

  • Be prepared that in some countries, they might open and go through that bag

  • If customs asks you, tell them straight up - they’re peptides for your personal use

99 times out of 100, you’ll be perfectly fine.

Safe travels ✈️
