Last night, Jay and I did a live public Q&A on all socials.
In case you missed it, today’s email summarizes some of the best questions we got during the show.
Questions and Answers:
1. How can I slow down hair loss due to testosterone supplementation? Thoughts on topical ketoconazole, minoxidil, or RU58841?
• Answer: Testosterone exacerbates hair loss in those genetically predisposed. Ketoconazole and minoxidil are largely ineffective. RU58841 is also unlikely to help. The best options include increasing blood flow to the scalp (e.g., inversion methods) and using angiogenic peptides like GHK-Cu (3% topical) for scalp application.
2. Why is SLU-PP-332 so expensive?
• Answer: Relative to its benefits, it’s not expensive. It enhances mitochondrial health, supports nerve health, and has anti-aging benefits. Health investments should be prioritized.
3. Is SLU-PP-332 good for a 60-year-old female on a health journey?
• Answer: Yes, it’s suitable and beneficial for overall health and anti-aging.
4. Why stack Tirzepatide with Retatrutide if Retatrutide is already a triple agonist?
• Answer: You don’t need to, but stacking can enhance appetite suppression and fat loss. Combining both works synergistically for those who want additional benefits.
5. Is there any concern about SLU-PP-332 and estrogenic side effects?
• Answer: Gynaecomastia has been noted in some, but it’s genetic rather than an estrogenic effect. SLU-PP-332 may cause gyno expression in those genetically predisposed.
6. Which blue-light-blocking glasses and EMF blockers do you recommend?
• Answer: For glasses, Ra Optics is recommended. For EMF harmonization, BlueShield devices are the best.
7. Can you provide information on ACE-031 for building muscle?
• Answer: ACE-031 is a myostatin inhibitor effective for muscle building. A typical dose is 1 mg per week. Effects attenuate after 4-6 weeks, requiring higher doses or cycling off.
8. I’m recovering from Lyme disease. What should my new direction be?
• Answer: Start with therapeutic testosterone and consider GLP-1 peptides (e.g., Tirzepatide or Retatrutide). Avoid substances like Kratom.
9. Does Tesofensine improve mood, and what dosage is optimal?
• Answer: Yes, Tesofensine can boost mood by increasing BDNF. Start with 250 mcg/day and titrate to 500 mcg if needed.
10. Does SLU-PP-332 enhance body recomposition even in a caloric surplus?
• Answer: Yes, due to its effects on nutrient partitioning and metabolic efficiency.
11. Can BPC-157 in tablet form be effective?
• Answer: It works well for gut health but is less effective for systemic soft tissue repair compared to injectable forms.
12. What’s the best dose of Tesamorelin for weight loss?
• Answer: 2 mg/day (1 mg AM and 1 mg PM) for eight weeks.
13. Can I mix peptides to avoid multiple injections?
• Answer: Yes, but only mix peptides with similar purposes (e.g., BPC-157 and TB-500).
14. How long does reconstituted Melanotan-1 last?
• Answer: Kept refrigerated and away from light, it retains 75-85% efficacy for 6-8 months.
15. Is Tesamorelin from your lab legitimate, or does it require a prescription?
• Answer: Biol Longevity Labs offers generic Tesamorelin, which is legitimate but not the prescription brand Egrifta.
16. What’s the dose of SS-31 for severe mitochondrial dysfunction from Lyme disease?
• Answer: 10 mg/day, though this is cost-prohibitive for many.
17. Can GLP-1 peptides cause elevated thyroid hormones?
• Answer: GLP-1 peptides may affect thyroid numbers during weight loss, but the changes are usually transient.
18. What’s the best peptide stack for rheumatoid arthritis?
• Answer: Start with BPC-157 and TB-500. Add LL-37, Thymosin Alpha-1, and possibly Tirzepatide or Retatrutide for inflammation control.
19. Can I inject BPC-157, TB-500, and Tesamorelin into an injured site?
• Answer: Yes, localized injections are best for injury healing.
20. What’s a suitable daily protocol for general optimization?
• Answer: The Life Enhanced course provides comprehensive guidance, including hormone optimization, peptide use, and lifestyle habits (it’s also 50% off right now for the holidays)
Best,
