Optimization On Autopilot
How to set it and forget it
My life is not terribly complicated.
Ok, that’s not exactly true…
I run a pretty intricate business with a lot of moving parts.
So, that certainly keeps me on my toes.
Of course, I have all of the stresses and complications in my personal life that everyone else does.
But when it comes to my HEALTH, things are not complicated in the slightest.
I get up, and I go through my routine.
✅ I take, more or less, the same supplements
✅ I eat, more or less, the same food (unless I’m fasting)
✅ I do, more or less, the same training
✅ I carry out, more or less, the same spiritual practices
Sure, there’s some variation.
I’m always experimenting with new peptides and protocols.
My diet might vary depending on whether I’m in a fat-loss or a mass-gaining phase.
But other than that, I’m on cruise control, baby!
Now, I know to a lot of people, this sounds AMAZING.
And it is.
Because once you get over the initial hump and discomfort of living this way, you very quickly get to the point where it’s instinct.
It’s not something you think about, and it’s something you do automatically.
I know for some of you, that may be hard to believe…
After all, when you’ve been eating the Standard American Diet your whole life, eating eggs for breakfast instead of donuts is a lot to process.
But fasting and eating every other day?
Unfathomable.
But I can promise you that once you’ve overcome the initial discomfort, this will become a very comfortable routine.
In fact, it’s harder for me not to do this and deviate from the routine than to simply follow through with it.
But I also know this is NOT appealing to some of you.
Why?
Because it sounds BORING.
It sounds like monotony.
Like that old movie Groundhog Day.
You want variety.
You want variation.
And the thought of going through your day doing the same old is about as appealing as swallowing broken glass.
Well, for those of you who are resistant to making this change and living the Fully Optimized Lifestyle, let me offer you a different perspective:
Your life is already automated.
That’s right…
Whether you know it or not, most people live their lives on cruise control:
❌ You already eat the same food every day - it’s just the wrong food
❌ You already do the same activities every day - it’s just doom-scrolling and watching Netflix
Most people do the same thing every day, and even worse, they think the same thoughts.
The vast majority of the thought patterns that we experience daily are automatic, and most of them are negative.
So, whether you like it or not, we’re all getting around in a self-driving car here.
The difference between us?
I’ve taken the time to plot the course.
I’ve taken the time to sit down and consciously plot out where I want my life to be headed, how I want to spend my days, and how I want to structure my activities to yield the greatest possible outcomes for my health.
Most people don’t plot anything - they let society plot their course for them…
And then sit back and let it happen.
So, which option do you want?
Well, if, for some reason, the second option sounds appealing to you, then by all means, keep doing what you’re doing.
But if you aspire to something more and you want to take control of your life FULLY - but you’re still trying to get over the initial hump - then be sure to check out:
