Peptide Overdose
Putting your fears in perspective
I’m not a huge caffeine fan.
Most days, I’ll have 1 cup of coffee, or maybe 2 if I’m feeling saucy.
But for the most part, I don’t consume more than 150mg of caffeine per day, and usually all of that is before noon.
BUT…I know that some of you guys LOVE caffeine.
Well, let me ask you - how do you feel after a cup of coffee (roughly 100 milligrams)?
“Can’t start my morning without it!”
Ok…how about 2 cups?
“Revved and ready to roll homie 😎”
Got it…how about 5?
“My hair is on fire!”
Alright…how about 300 cups?
Well, believe it or not, this is (basically) what happened to a couple of unfortunate research subjects:

The TLDR of this story is this:
A few years ago, researchers at a British University experimented on caffeine and sports performance.
As part of the study, participants received 0.3 grams of caffeine, the equivalent of about three cups of coffee.
At least, they were supposed to give them 0.3 grams.
The problem?
The researchers apparently suck at math and were incapable of using those simple decimals we all learned in elementary school.
The result?
They ended up giving the subjects 3 GRAMS of caffeine.
The equivalent of about 300 cups of coffee - all at once 😳
Which, in case you don’t know, is more than enough to kill an adult male a few times over.
While the two research subjects made a full recovery, they both spent a few days in the hospital, with one experiencing short-term memory loss and 26 pounds of weight loss and the other experiencing 22 pounds of weight loss.
Now, in my mind, there are a few takeaways from this story:
☝️ Researchers at universities are far from the geniuses we all think they are
✌️ When it comes to optimization, you’re fears are….misplaced
One of the common objections I get about self-administering peptides is the fear that you’ll “screw it up.”
And in the process of screwing it up, a lot of people believe they’ll cause permanent damage to themselves.
I’m all for being cautious and ensuring you know what you’re doing before making the leap…
But I do find it funny that this same level of caution doesn’t apply to the common over-the-counter and prescription agents that most of us have in our home cabinets.
The truth?
Many of these agents aren’t just deadly, but VERY easy to overdose on.
NSAIDs, acetaminophen, antihistamines…
Even something like Cialis (incredible as it is) can cause a deadly sudden drop in blood pressure if too much is taken.
Peptides aren’t like that.
With few exceptions, taking too much of a specific peptide won’t kill you.
Sure, it probably won’t be fun.
But for the vast majority, you’re looking at some nausea, flushing, and itchiness at the site of injection if you overdo it.
Look, I applaud you for being cautious and doing your research.
And if you’re still on the fence about this, our new course on Reconstitution Course is just $49 and will tell you everything you need to know about how to set everything up correctly.
But let’s put your fears in perspective here - you live to fight another day if you accidentally take too much.
Can’t say the same for your caffeine powder (hope you’re better at math than these guys were 😉)
Best,
Hunter Williams
