Happy Friday!
I released a new podcast episode today, and this one goes beyond the traditional peptide convo.
Brandon Amalani of Blushield came all the way to my house to record it in person.
YouTube: https://youtu.be/cP24q_uk_Wg
Brandon runs Shen Blossom, which makes traditional Japanese herbal preparations.
He is also the guy who helped commercialize Blushield’s EMF mitigation technology in the United States.
And he built the ARC, a fully analog PEMF machine that I have been running in my office for the past few weeks.
You come to me for the HRT and the peptide stuff. That is my lane and I am not leaving it.
But I talk to a lot of people whose peptides get them 80% of the way there and then stall out.
I think about it like a car. Your hormones and your peptides are the car. Tires, engine, all of it. You can build the fastest car in the world, and it still does not go anywhere without a driver.
This episode is about the driver.
Topics We Covered
Brandon's path from playing in bands and studying martial arts to herbalism and electrotherapy
The difference between medicinal herbs and tonic herbs, and why he calls adaptogens "load balancers" for the body
Why your hormones and minerals have to be in decent shape before peptide signaling does much of anything
What EMF exposure actually does at the cell level, and the voltage-gated calcium channel research behind it
Magnesium, calcium, and why chronic low-grade anxiety might be partly an electrical problem
The three buckets of exposure in a normal house
Coherent versus incoherent EMF, and why a cell tower and a PEMF device are doing very different things
How the ARC works, impulse magnetic flux versus the resonator style mats you see at every biohacking booth
Whether stacking electrotherapy with something like SS-31 or TB-500 gives you a multiplier
Bioregulators, and the question almost nobody asks about why that DNA was misfiring in the first place
Terrain theory explained in plain language
Why so many people get histamine welts from CJC-1295 and tesamorelin, and why I keep pushing cycling
Growth hormone versus the secretagogues, including the anti-drug antibody problem with tesamorelin
Standing meditation, which costs nothing and you can start tomorrow morning
We also went pretty far out at the end, namely scalar fields, sleep, and consciousness.
At the very end, we filmed a live demo of the ARC so you can see what it actually does.
My Verdict on Blushield
Since Blushield comes up a lot in this episode, I want to be clear about my history with it.
I bought my first one several years ago, long before Brandon knew who I was.
I was living in an apartment with a 5G tower and a bank of power transformers right outside, surrounded by everyone else's Wi-Fi routers. My sleep was never great in that place, no matter what I did. Adding a Blushield was the first thing that moved the needle.
Today I run a Phi 3 in my office and an EVO 3 pyramid in my bedroom.
You probably only need one.
I have two because my office is contains six overhead studio lights with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, a rack of computers in the closet with a cooling fan that kicks on by itself, and multiple cameras.
With Blusield, I can work a full day in my EMF-drenched office without my brain feeling scrambled by hour two.

The Phi 3 in my office

The Evo Pyramid in my bedroom
Is some of that placebo? I can't rule it out for my own experience, and I am not going to pretend otherwise.
What I will say is that Brandon put the thing through an independent review board-certified trial rather than paying somebody to write a white paper, and they saw methylation changes across the participants. That is a lot harder to manufacture than a good feeling.
