Permanent Changes From Peptides

And why we should cycle them

One of the biggest problems people typically have with my approach to peptides and other agents is that I’m a big advocate of cycling off.

There are many people out there who will tell you exactly what you want to hear.

They’ll condone blasting Tirzepatide and Retitatrutide (at a high dose, I might add) indefinitely to suppress your hunger permanently.

And the truth is you can…

But I think you’re going to be disappointed with the results.

What these people are NOT telling you is a little fact of biology known as receptor attenuation.

Over time, your body builds a “tolerance” to many of these agents.

That’s the reason why the first time you take tirzepatide is INSANE.

But after 8 weeks or so, the efficacy dies off dramatically.

And I’ll admit - it is a bummer.

I wish I could tell you you can stay on these agents indefinitely.

But sadly, biology has its built-in limitations.

Sure, cycling on and off isn’t the end of the world, but it is a bit of a drag.

But there’s some good news in all this…

While cycling off is necessary for most peptides and health agents, many of the changes they induce are PERMANENT.

Case in point: SLOOP.

Even when I cycled off of it, the effects still seemed to hang around.

It seems that SLOOP appears to upregulate our mitochondria permanently.

And this isn’t just a hunch. It’s something we confirmed when we spoke with Alex Kikel:

He’s seeing permanent changes with his coaching clients and athletes even after they’ve come off SLOOP.

Another example would be tirzepatide:

One of the things Jay and I discovered a while back was it was permanently lowering our appetites.

How?

By helping to remodel the bacteria in our gut.

As a result, we both have less hunger and food noise even when we’re off all GLP-1s.

And these are just two examples.

There are countless others (many of which haven’t been discovered yet).

BUT (and it’s a big but), there’s a big caveat here:

You MUST be optimized for this to work.

The more muscular you already are, the more permanent the changes from SLOOP.

The better your gut health already is, the more permanent the effects of tirzepatide.

And on and on.

There are no two ways around it…

If you want to cash in on this, you MUST be “living the lifestyle.”

Training, nutrition, hormonal optimization - all of it needs to be dialed in and on point.

As the base pillar of optimization, we spend a ton of time discussing lifestyle fundamentals in this group.

Let’s see if we can get you some permanent results as well.
