Super Bowl Sunday

The life of an athlete

Today is Super Bowl Sunday.

It might not be a big deal if you live outside the country, but here in the States, no single event captivates more people at once.

Last year, in 2024, 123.7 million people watched the game, making it the most-watched television event in history.

I love football. In fact, it’s the reason I got into the health optimization space.

As a kid, all I wanted was to play professional football. I ate, slept, and breathed the game.

  • As a child, it was my hobby.

  • As a teenager, it was my obsession.

That obsession led me to play Division 1 football at Wake Forest University.

Though my playing days are behind me, the mindset and discipline of being an athlete are still ingrained in my DNA.

I often joke that my work today is just my way of channeling that passion for football into something new.

I absolutely love what I do—but nothing quite compares to being in your prime as an athlete.

Football is a cruel master.

Some play for fame.

Some play for money.

I played because I loved the details.

The practices. The lifting sessions. The film room. The endless preparation required to show up and perform on game day.

Years later, I learned that all those hits and concussions had wrecked my body’s ability to produce testosterone.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but my health, mood, and energy were slowly declining.

Thankfully, I discovered testosterone therapy, which helped me reclaim my energy, focus, and well-being. And from testosterone therapy, I found peptides.

When my testosterone was gone, my quality of life was miserable.

  • I was depressed.

  • I had anxiety.

  • I lacked purpose.

But once I addressed the root cause of my dis-EASE, everything changed.

Today, I’m grateful and privileged to share my knowledge of peptides and hormone optimization with people around the world.

So tonight, enjoy the Super Bowl. I definitely will.

And if you’re in a state of:

  • Low energy

  • Obesity

  • Brain fog

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Chronic pain

I promise—there’s a way out.

It might not seem like it right now, but whenever there’s a will, there’s a way.

Optimize your hormones.

Learn how to use peptides.

Take one step forward at a time.

If you’re a former athlete and have ever experienced concussions or physical trauma, please get your bloodwork done.

I speak with countless athletes who silently suffer because of hormone imbalances caused by past injuries.

And if you weren’t an athlete, still get your blood work done!

Most people today live in quiet malaise because of poor hormone health.

In closing, is the Super Bowl the ultimate symbol of commercialism, hedonic pleasure, and mainstream brainwashing? Probably.

Would we all be better off doing something more productive?

Probably.

But I’m still going to watch it anyway.

What do I miss most about football?

It’s not the crowds. It’s not the adrenaline.

It’s the moments—

The camaraderie with teammates. The teaching talks with coaches. The shared experiences with family.

Those moments are all we have when this life is said and done.

So, whatever you’re doing tonight, please take a moment to enjoy it. Spend time with the people who matter most.

Best,

Hunter
