The Nexus of Succes
When preparation meets opportunity
Sometimes, I reminisce about the days of being a student.
Contrary to most, I loved preparing for an exam and having my knowledge tested.
Maybe it was my upbringing as an athlete, but sometimes, I miss getting immediate feedback about what I did right and wrong.
Even more so, I enjoyed how the preparation process forged me into a better student, athlete, and human being.
Nowadays, I love talking to other people who bring that same preparation mindset to the game of life.
Whether it’s your business, your relationships, or your health, everyone should invest time studying or preparing for life's exams.
Think about your last routine “exam” at your doctor’s office.
We’ve ALL had that experience of walking into a doctor’s office with some problem.
It could be a hormonal problem, an injury, or simply a desire to improve our overall health…
Whatever it is, hopefully, you’ve done your research and preparation.
You should have an idea of what’s wrong, what could potentially help, and how the doctor can facilitate it.
Well, let me ask you: What kind of reaction did you have on your most recent trip?
Was your doctor a pillar of shining health?
Did they sit there, actively listen to you, and take what you had to say on board?
Lol, yeah - that’s what a thought.
At best, they probably sat there nodding while waiting for you to shut up…
And then they promptly ignored your thoughts and told you what they wanted to tell you the whole time anyway.
And at worst, they’re actively hostile.
They’ll cut you off, tell you why you’re wrong, and send you on your merry little way.
So much for “working together as a team.” 🙄
Why do you think so many doctors are hostile to peptides becoming a part of the system?
Why do you think they don’t like the idea of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy becoming approved?
Why do you think they’ll only use hormone replacement therapy as a last resort?
It’s because they don’t understand them.
As I said in my email yesterday, you’re only a few months away from knowing more about these topics than your doctor.
So when you come to them and try to bring these things up, they stonewall you (at best) and lash out at you.
So what’s the solution?
Yup, you guessed it - you gotta do much of this alone!
And for most people, that means having someone in their corner who can help them navigate this world.
I recommend joining the Fully Optimized Health community for group coaching to help you be as prepared as possible.
And let’s tackle your health as a team. 👊
Best,
