The Peptide For Liver Health

New video on Ovagen

Happy Friday!

I just released a new video all about Ovagen, one of the most fascinating bioregulator peptides I’ve researched in recent years.

Now, if you hear the name, you might think it has something to do with the ovaries, but it’s actually the liver bioregulator.

This is one of those peptides that doesn’t give you the jolt of four cups of coffee, but when you zoom out and look at your liver health over the course of a lifetime, Ovagen starts to look like a must-have.

In the new video, I break down how it works, where it comes from, and what the science says about its benefits. I’ll give you a full recap here, but make sure to check out the video for the deeper dive and my personal commentary on how to practically use it.

FYI, BioLongevity Labs is running a flash sale on the following items until tonight at midnight PST.

The GLOW Blend (BPC-157/TB-500/GHK-cu)

Where Ovagen Comes From

The origins of Ovagen are actually pretty cool.

It was developed after decades of research in Russia on peptide extracts from animal livers.

If you’ve seen the carnivore or ancestral health movement, you know beef liver is considered nature’s multivitamin.

Researchers took that concept one step further by isolating the smallest active fractions that actually signal the liver to regenerate and repair.

One natural liver peptide complex that came from this research was called Svetinorm, and it went through clinical testing for people with hepatitis and chemotherapy-induced liver damage.

Ovagen is essentially the synthetic analog of the single most powerful peptide identified from those extracts.

Mechanisms

So what does Ovagen actually do?

Mechanistically, it works on epigenetic gene regulation.

This peptide is small enough to cross cell membranes, travel into the nucleus, and interact with DNA and chromatin.

In liver cells, this means reduced buildup of heterochromatin (which accumulates with age) and more active transcription of genes needed for detox, metabolism, and regeneration.

Ovagen also directly stimulates cell proliferation and reduces apoptosis, which helps maintain the liver’s structure.

Another fascinating mechanism is its ability to reduce fibrosis.

Studies show it modulates hepatic stellate cells and collagen deposition, preventing the scarring that eventually leads to cirrhosis.

On top of that, Ovagen improves immune parameters and even has a documented ability to inhibit HIV protease in vitro, one of the smallest molecules known to do so.

Benefits

Now let’s talk benefits, because this is where things get really practical. Ovagen is being used for viral hepatitis, toxic hepatitis (think alcohol or drug damage), and fatty liver disease associated with metabolic syndrome.

By improving lipid metabolism and reducing fat buildup in the liver, it’s highly relevant to anyone dealing with high triglycerides or insulin resistance.

It has a role in early cirrhosis, helping preserve what healthy tissue is left and slowing fibrosis progression.

Beyond that, it’s protective for people on long-term medications like antibiotics or chemotherapy, where the liver takes a beating.

One of the coolest applications is in post-transplant recovery, supporting the liver after surgery to reduce complications.

And don’t forget about downstream benefits, including better digestion, a stronger gut mucosal barrier, improved bile flow, and even better cardiovascular health from normalized cholesterol metabolism.

In short, this is a peptide that touches everything from how you digest food to how well your blood vessels age.

Clinical Results and Human Data

A lot of people ask if there’s real data, and the answer is yes!

One clinical study in Russia looked at 47 patients with chronic hepatitis or chemotherapy-induced liver dysfunction.

They compared standard therapy alone versus standard therapy plus liver peptides. In the peptide group, 53% reported a marked decrease in liver pain, fatigue went down, appetite improved, and energy levels went up.

Blood work backed this up.

ALT dropped by 26%, bilirubin levels came down, triglycerides improved, and there was a significant drop in IgM immunoglobulin (a marker of inflammation).

Importantly, there were no adverse effects reported.

Long-term follow-up with various peptide regimens also showed reduced mortality and better health outcomes in elderly patients.

Animal models back this up as well.

Old rats treated with liver peptides saw their liver enzymes return closer to youthful levels and their liver tissue actually grew by 15–16% compared to controls.

What to Expect

The truth is you’re probably not going to “feel” Ovagen the way you feel caffeine or even something like BPC-157 for acute healing.

Instead, Ovagen is about long-term organ rejuvenation.

What you can expect are improvements in lab work (ALT, AST, triglycerides, bilirubin) and a reduction in inflammatory markers.

Subjectively, most people report better digestion, less bloating, improved energy, and sometimes even fat loss around the midsection (because the liver processes fat more effectively).

There are also reports of clearer skin, which makes sense because the liver is a big player in detoxification.

If you’re dealing with metabolic syndrome, fatty liver, or post-antibiotic gut issues, you may notice improvements in those areas.

And even if you’re already optimized, Ovagen acts as an insurance policy, keeping your liver youthful so you can keep making progress in all the other areas of health.

Who Should Consider Ovagen

So who is the ideal candidate?

First, anyone with diagnosed liver issues such as hepatitis, fatty liver, elevated liver enzymes, or even just a history of heavy alcohol or medication use.

Second, for people undergoing chemotherapy or long-term medication protocols, Ovagen can help reduce side effects and protect the liver during those treatments.

Third, aging populations.

As we get older, the liver naturally loses some regenerative capacity, and Ovagen helps preserve it.

Fourth, biohackers and health optimizers.

Even if you’re in great health, periodic Ovagen cycles can act as a preventive measure.

I personally recommend considering it one to two times per year, even if you’re optimized, just to signal the liver back into a youthful state.

Given how central the liver is to hormones, digestion, metabolism, and immunity, I think almost anyone serious about long-term health could make a case for using Ovagen.

How to Dose Ovagen

Let’s get specific, because this is the part people always ask me about.

If you get a 20 mg vial of Ovagen, you want to reconstitute it with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water.

That means each 10 units on an insulin syringe (0.1 mL) equals 1 mg of Ovagen. From there, the dosing protocol is 1–2 mg per day for 30 to 60 days. So practically:

  • Draw 10 units per day for 1 mg, or

  • Draw 20 units per day for 2 mg.

You’ll inject this subcutaneously (belly fat or love handle area is fine).

Intramuscular is also an option, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

If you’re stacking with other liver-supportive agents, Ovagen pairs extremely well with injectable glutathione.

I personally use glutathione weekly, and Ovagen fits perfectly alongside it.

Final Thoughts

To recap, Ovagen is the liver bioregulator peptide that originates from decades of research on organ extracts.

It works by flipping genetic switches in your liver back to a more youthful state, stimulating regeneration, preventing fibrosis, and improving metabolism.

Clinical studies have shown reductions in liver enzymes, improved inflammation markers, and better quality of life for patients.

For you, that could mean more energy, better digestion, less bloating, and even downstream benefits like improved cardiovascular health.

It’s safe, well-tolerated, and one of those peptides I believe deserves a spot in everyone’s yearly health strategy, whether you’re fighting liver disease or just looking to stay optimized.

If you’re ready to take your liver health seriously, Ovagen is one of the most powerful tools you can use.

Best,

Hunter Williams
